BORACAY: Party Central of the Philippines

New beats dominate the air these days. They make us groove to the sounds that we never thought it could ever be invented. Music houses sprung like fungi and take control of the nightlife on almost every key areas in this planet. Major cities here in the Philippines may boast the best club inspired by the west but only one place have succeeded to catch the real party theme for the past decades, a place where millions of tourists draw themselves together every year with it’s sprawling fine white sand beaches, world class hotels, gastronomic, warm-hearted people and of course » THE BEST NIGHTLIFE EVER. Truthfully, you can’t end your vacation on it’s fullest without hitting any of the inhibition-crushing pubs in »»» BORACAY. So go, free yourself for even just a time on sundown :).

Boracay can be a real island that never sleeps. When the sun comes up, vast activities await guests for a great island experience then on dusk, the best party starts and ends on sunrise. There are lots of watering hole that serves nice cocktails and other alcoholic stuffs. As I always advise, choose a bar that suites your budget as to not hurt your pocket and you can feast to your heart’s content. Though most hotels have their own cocktail lounges, people always seek places that aren’t connected to their accommodation where loud music is on its loftiest like there’s no tomorrow. Boracay differs from city parties: you can party here with your own comfortable clothes (NO DRESSCODES), party with compliments of sea breeze, dance without limitations, you can drink your favorite cocktails on barefoot and exceptional DJs. Furthermore, you can chat to anyone here because the place doesn’t require any strata, you are all equal with one goal: TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!, accentuated by the bars that are so inviting where alcoholic drinks are modified to suite your very taste :).

Bars are solidly jam packed during the peak seasons: Summer (April-May), Halloween, Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, though they are full packed all year round. New setting of party has been introduced: boat parties with unlimited drinks (you can inquire at My Boracay Guide) and book. Full moon party is being held at the Jungle bar away from the white beach and it’s located on the Bulabog beach. A reggae theme awaits you so don’t forget to don your flowery polos to contribute more color on the party. Check your calendar and mark the full moon! Never waste your time in Boracay ~ groove the night away 😉 Special parties are also held by major hotel players over the weekends and special occasions like christmas, new year countdown, etc. Please do contact booking portals and direct hotel/bar inquiry for more information.

Boat stations 1 and 2 play a vital role in Boracay nightlife: from chilling lounges to party pubs. If you’re aiming for a good chill out without so much noise and away from club-type of fun, here are some 5 of the commendable saloons that may suit your very mood.

(1.) Coco bar by Red Coconut Beach Hotel (station 2) have an elegant pink-lit ambiance that they actually have a wide variety of drinks. They will never fail your cravings for body warming cocktails. A polite request from a bar tender will go a long way. In my experience, it is the bar for the young professionals 😉

(2.) L bar by Le Soleil de Boracay (station 2) is a second floor cocktail lounge with a loft that one can actually see people passingby the hotel, be sure to reserve the table with a beach view. Enjoy the music on a not too loud environment while having a good and unaborted chat with friends and loved ones.

(3.) MO2 bar by Boracay Regency (station 2). Be sure to be on the first floor for it has a disco pub in the basement. Like the quality assurance provided by the hotel, here you can taste among the best cocktails in the island. They serve excellent food too that goes along with the drinking sessions.

(4.) Sky Lounge by Estacion Uno (station 1) is a reinvention of quality moments on an unobstructed view of the beach front while sipping your most favored cocktails or drinks either alone or with friends. F.Y.I. this hotel was named Waling-Waling before. A renovated version of the latter and it’s all good 😉

(5.) The Sand bar by Bamboo Lounge (station 1) can be very successful in their one of a kind gimmick. Aside from good food and drinks, you’ll be entertained by the famous FIRE DANCING exclusively performed for the guests. Though you can trace kerosene in the air, amazement will bring you to the peak. It’s a remarkable therapy for the vision to end the night in Boracay.

For the party-minded personas, we can dance the night away in Boracay! Adults have their privileges for a night-out, just be responsible enough in every act you do once you engage to alcohol intake. Here’s my top 6 Boracay party rendezvous:

(1.) First up is “home of the fiery hot tequila” »»» Guilly’s Island Boracay (station 1). Thanks to Mikey Presa who invented the tequila shot, who was then the manager. Guilly’s boasts its name from its brand of bars from the metro with a hybrid theme of a lounge and a club. This bar usually holds a buffet dinner before the party starts at 10pm. Food and drinks, they have a wide array which are served the quickest and they’re all good. Staff are so pro-service and fast. The resident DJs are the pride of Guilly’s. They set your mood to party without you knowing it. Best party music it is! With my favorite “weng-weng” here is just too good with lots of grenadine syrup. As I’ve said, a polite request goes a long way ;). This bar is the melting pot of young professionals and all other social strata. Party all night long without restrictions, just don’t be a liability when you get drunk. Don’t forget to try their “gone in 60 seconds” challenge. You’ll have a shirt and your picture will be posted on their wall.

( 2.) Coco Mangas (station 1) has been the first bar to be known in boracay for its great concoctions. The “still standing after fifteen shots” promo is the sensation here. You can win a shirt and a cash prize when do it in flying colors. Creditcards? Not accepted.

(3.) Club Paraw is just next to guilly’s along the beach front of station 1. They have a second floor which can accomodate an extended number of people. They offer good cocktails too. Music is great. People here are more loose and free-spirited. You can have an alternate attendance to Paraw-Guilly’s if you’re feeling too good to party. They don’t accept plastics here, bring more cash with you 😉

(4). Epic is a club located at the beach front of D’mall in station 2. The newest party place in the island. A restaurant on day time that transforms into an island club in the evening. People claim that this bar/club is a high-end one. Based on my experience, you can’t really feel if one is an expensive thing in Boracay because you actually don’t care about the price if something definitely gives you total enjoyment. Food and drinks are favorable here. Grooving music will invade your night! What’s good in here is that it’s nearby some cafe which you can indulge in some world-class pastries and burgers when capping the night off.

(5.) Summerplace (station 2) is one of the late night party places in the island. This is where people catch up after they partied at other pubs in the island. I think this is the favorite hang out venue of the tourists from the west. You get to meet different people here, so leave your inhibitions at your hotel and acquaint yourself to some people and have a good time. I had the opportunity to taste the shark attack, it’s awesome!!!! They don’t accept creditcards here, bring some good amount of cash with you.

(6.) Juice Bar (station 2) gets also the limelight for they offer charming drinks to everyone on the island. Once your body is set to warm by the shots, don’t hesitate to set your hips to the music. They have a remarkable staff too. The place is a little narrow but it’s too big for everyone to party. I once had to crawl my way to the water closet for I was too drunk. But when I vomited, I felt really good, and I always make sure a mouthwash is always on hand. Unlike summerplace, they accept credit cards here.

For once, I lay on the beach drunk and wasted. I did see how beautiful the moon and the stars decorate the sky. Life is so beautiful to just let it go by without doing something that you love. The breeze is heaven. This is paradise island.

When you wake up early, pave your way to the best breakfast! Try Boracay Regency’s Sea Breeze cafe, Smoke in D’mall, Fairways and Bluewater Restaurant and Real Coffee in Station 1. Then gulp liters of water to counteract the dehydration from the best night in your life ;).

Like what they always say about the paradise island, “WHAT HAPPENS IN BORACAY STAYS IN BORACAY”. What are you waiting for, indulge in one of the best night life in the universe.

My motto is that: “WHATEVER HAPPENED IN BORACAY, NEVER HAPPENED!”
